With Jess Brown

“The body is held together by sound. The presence of disease indicates that some of the sounds have gone out of tune” – Deepak Chopra

NTA Director Leanne Scott interviews Functional Sound Therapist Jess Brown on the healing nature of sound. The basis of sound healing is that vibration is fundamental to all matter. The atoms within the body vibrate at a specific speed dependent on the area of the body. When this vibration can not occur at the speed that creates harmony this is what we call ‘dis-ease’

In this interview, Jess and Leanne explore:

  • History of sound therapy
  • Healing with sound in the clinical environment
  • Why should be mindful of the types of sounds we pay attention to
  • How frequency in mainstream music was changed and what it’s doing to our nervous system
  • How can we use sound in our everyday life to improve our health
  • The power of our own words
